KARAM BIOSCIENCE Cell-aging model transfer Public scope outline / 2026-10-15 Proposed research work, not an accepted engagement or demonstrated result. STATUS Proposed evaluation plan. No completed Karam result. QUESTION Does a cell-aging model remain useful in the intended research setting when the donor, batch, laboratory or disease context changes? RATIONALE The source map identifies cell-specific aging models as an analytical licensing lead. Before a model is used as a development gate, its inputs, access rights and performance in the intended workflow need inspection. This project evaluates the proposed use; it does not turn a model output into a clinical age judgment. WORK PACKAGES Define intended use: Choose the research decision and the population or cell setting in which the estimate would be used. Inspect what transfers: Confirm access to software, model weights, permitted inputs and appropriate validation material. Test independent context: Agree a held-out evaluation and comparison against the current approach rather than recycling development data. Separate endpoints: Report predictive behavior, uncertainty and functional evidence separately. An age estimate is not a patient benefit endpoint. DECISION GATE Continue only when the model can be evaluated lawfully and provides an interpretable advantage for the agreed use. Restrict or stop deployment if transfer fails or essential evaluation rights are missing. PARTNER PROFILE Dataset owners and analytical teams with authorized independent material and a clearly defined nonclinical research workflow. NOT YET ESTABLISHED No Stanford license, model ownership, validated diagnostic or individual biological-age interpretation is claimed.
