KARAM BIOSCIENCE CellState reproducibility benchmark Public scope outline / 2026-10-15 Proposed research work, not an accepted engagement or demonstrated result. STATUS Proposed evaluation plan. No completed Karam result. QUESTION Can a context-aware analysis system reduce misleading cellular-aging conclusions compared with existing methods and simpler baselines? RATIONALE This is the proposed first proprietary development project in Karam’s commercial map. The product should begin with one cell model and one repeatable buyer task. Its value must be demonstrated as fewer interpretation errors, greater reproducibility or less analyst time—not assumed because a model produces a sophisticated-looking score. WORK PACKAGES Define usefulness: Recruit at least three independent design partners to specify the decision, current workflow and a failure that matters. Establish a baseline: Document the existing method and a simpler comparison. Define the reference task before evaluating a new system. Evaluate transfer: Where appropriate, keep entire donors, laboratories or batches out of development to test whether the method transfers. Report the tradeoff: Show error rates, reproducibility, time saved and limits. Keep a molecular-age prediction separate from functional benefit. DECISION GATE Continue only if a pre-agreed evaluation demonstrates a useful advantage on independent data and the data/code rights support the intended product. Redesign or stop if performance disappears outside the development batch. PARTNER PROFILE Research teams with authorized image or omics datasets, a repeated interpretation workflow and permission to evaluate an independent method. NOT YET ESTABLISHED No validated model, claimed accuracy, production software or completed external benchmark is established. Data access, scientific lead and evaluation agreements remain prerequisites.
