Last updated August 10, 2026. This notice explains information handled by the public Karam website and founding waitlist.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit, the page where you joined, and the time of submission. Our hosting provider may also create ordinary security and access logs containing information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time.
Please do not send health information.
This website is not a patient portal, clinical service, pharmacy, or HIPAA intake channel. Do not submit diagnoses, prescriptions, symptoms, insurance information, or other sensitive health details through a waitlist form or general email.
How we use it
We use waitlist information to send Karam development updates, requested launch information, and important changes to these terms or privacy practices. We may also use aggregate website information to keep the site secure and understand whether pages work.
How the upload-ready form works
The waitlist form records the submitted email in a server-side file protected from public web access and attempts to notify Karam by email. The site does not use advertising pixels, behavioral profiling, or third-party analytics in this release.
Sharing
We do not sell waitlist email addresses. Information may be handled by service providers that host or protect the website, deliver email, or support Karam, subject to appropriate agreements. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention and choices
We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or it is no longer reasonably needed. Every marketing message should provide an unsubscribe method. You may also email hello@karambioscience.com to unsubscribe, request access, correct your email, or ask for deletion. Applicable law may provide additional rights.
Cookies
This release does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting environment may use essential technical mechanisms for security and delivery. If Karam later adds analytics or other nonessential cookies, this notice and any required choices should be updated first.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no website or storage method is perfectly secure. Email is not a secure channel for medical information.
Children
The site and waitlist are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can delete it.
