The decision this is for.
CellState Research is Karam’s proposed first proprietary development program. It would combine assay context, multiple readouts and explicit failure flags in one model and one buyer workflow. The central hypothesis is that the system can reduce false-positive development decisions and analyst time. That hypothesis has not yet been validated.
What the scoped deliverable includes.
Narrow workflow definition
Choose one cell model, one decision and the comparison methods before expanding scope.
Context-aware analysis concept
Retain sample, batch, viability and measurement context alongside apparent molecular or image changes.
Independent benchmark plan
Hold out appropriate donors, laboratories or batches and compare with existing methods and simpler baselines.
Design-partner evaluation
Measure reproducibility, error rates and time saved against customer-defined usefulness criteria.
What we need to scope it.
A repeated interpretation task, authorized representative datasets, baseline methods, evaluation rights and a willingness to define failure as well as success.
How acceptance works.
At least three independent design partners should define usefulness before a general platform is built. A paid pilot is offered only when delivery is feasible and performance tests are agreed.
Illustrative test: determine whether the proposed system flags an apparent beneficial change caused by altered cell composition more reliably than the current workflow.
Where the scope stops.
No validated diagnostic, proprietary performance claim, production software license or demonstrated advantage is currently asserted. Functional outcomes and molecular age predictions remain separate.
Before you inquire.
Is CellState already validated?
No. It is a proposed development program. The benchmark, rights-cleared data and independent tests must come before performance claims.
Can design partners help define the product?
Yes. The intended starting point is a narrow, useful workflow defined with independent partners—not a general platform built in isolation.
