Before ordering another experiment, establish whether the present dataset supports the comparison you care about. Data Review is a proposed independent analysis of one modality with pre-agreed comparisons. The engagement begins with a small authorized sample, a data dictionary and a feasibility check by a qualified analyst—not a promise to extract a positive result from any file.
What the scoped deliverable includes.
Quality-control report
Document missingness, sample identifiers, exclusions, batch information and reasons a planned comparison may not be interpretable.
Reproducible notebook
Versioned code, input assumptions, software environment and a rerunnable path from the agreed input to each reported output.
Benchmark and sensitivity checks
Compare against an appropriate baseline and show which conclusions depend on normalization, exclusions or analysis choices.
Decision memo
State what is supported, what remains ambiguous and whether another analysis or a new study would be more informative.
What we need to scope it.
A nonconfidential schema first; dataset size and modality; sample and batch metadata; the original protocol; permitted use and transfer rights; and the decision the analysis must inform. Do not upload research data through the public inquiry form.
How acceptance works.
One authorized modality, a frozen analysis specification and reproducible outputs. A contracted bioinformatician must establish feasibility before a quote. Additional cleaning, sequencing and materially changed comparisons are separate scope.
Illustrative brief: does an apparent treatment effect remain when a whole donor or batch is held out, rather than splitting highly related samples between training and evaluation?
Where the scope stops.
No clinical interpretation, patient risk prediction or guaranteed target validation. Privacy, security and transfer terms must be established before data move. No general secure data room is claimed on this website.
Before you inquire.
Can you reanalyze a negative dataset?
That is a useful scoping question. The goal is to understand the result and its limits, not to turn a null finding into a positive claim.
Does the opening price include new sequencing?
No. The planning price covers an agreed analysis of existing data. New experiments and additional data generation are separate.
