What was reported
Screens identified Dusp5 and Zfp219 as regulators of T-cell expansion or cytotoxic function. Zfp219 loss combined with checkpoint inhibition improved tumor control in aged mice; the human ZNF219 observations were associative. [C02]
What the result does not establish
Mouse tumor control is not proof of general human immune rejuvenation. Dusp5, Zfp219 and human ZNF219 cannot be used interchangeably.
Measured endpoint
T-cell expansion, cytotoxic function and mouse tumor control.
Karam’s next question
Which immune function changes, in which model, and can an independent specialist reproduce the result?
Assessment-derived brief. Cited in the supplied 15 October 2026 project assessment; not independently reviewed in this website release. Karam has not reproduced the experiment or independently audited the underlying dataset. This is not Karam-generated evidence.
